Illinois is looking to borrow two-billion-dollars more to make ends meet. Governor JB Pritzker said he is going to tap into the Federal Reserve’s Municipal Liquidity Facility program. Pritzker has said that Illinois needs five-billion from the federal government to plug a hole in the next state budget. This is the second time Illinois has turned to federal loans to make it through. The governor’s office is not saying where Illinois will get the money to pay the loans back.
