Illinois Lawmakers Cancel Fall Session

Illinois lawmakers are not going back to Springfield until next year.  Both the Illinois House and Illinois Senate Wednesday canceled the fall veto session because of rising coronavirus numbers. Veto session usually sees little action, and lawmakers say there is nothing pressing this year.  The decision means lawmakers will have missed almost all of 2020 at the Capitol.
