IHSA To Decide on Winter Sports Next Week

We will know if there will be high school basketball in Illinois next week. The IHSA, who run high school sports in the state, said Monday it will make a decision on October 28th as to whether winter sports can be held. The IHSA canceled so-called high risk sports in the fall. That meant no football, soccer, or volleyball. Winter sports include basketball, wrestling, swimming, gymnastics, and cheerleading.
