Illinois’ governor is looking to spend four-and-a-half-million-dollars on racial healing. The Pritzker Administration yesterday announced plans for a program that will create ‘a dialogue’ about race in the state. There’s no clear plan of action, other than to ‘promote dialogue, encourage collaboration, facilitate learning, and seed connection’ on race. Lt. Gov. Juliana Stratton says the idea is to promote the process of ‘collective healing’ in the state.
