Harvest in Central Illinois Underway

Fall harvest in Central Illinois is in full swing.  Yesterday morning was the first frost of the season, urging farmers into the fields to bring in their crops before winter sets in.  Many farmers report that this year’s harvest is getting off to a better start than last year’s, with better yields on corn especially.  Most hope to be done with harvest by the end of the month.
