Macon County Clerk Josh Tanner has announced there will be three vote-by-mail ballot collection events in the month of October. This is an opportunity for voters who requested a vote by mail ballot to drop their ballot into a secured box, monitored by election judges. Any voter in Macon County may drop their ballot at any of the collection events.
Voters cannot early vote or request a vote by mail ballot at these events. Voters should make sure they have completed the vote by mail ballot authorization form on the back of the outer envelope. If voters have questions, they can call the Macon County Clerkâs Office at 217-424-1333.
October 10, 2020 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Forsyth Public Library 268 S. Elwood, Forsyth.
October 17, 2020 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Mt. Zion Public Library 115 W. Main Street, Mt. Zion.
October 24, 2020 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Decatur Public Library 130 North Franklin Street, Decatur.
