IL Legislative Black Caucus Addressing Racial Disparities In Education

The Illinois Legislative Black Caucus is addressing racial disparities in education.  Caucus members spoke yesterday in the Gwendolyn Brooks Library at Chicago State University.  Senate Majority Leader Kimberly Lightford says barriers need to come down to prevent the continuation of the school to prison pipeline for young Black people.
