Illinois Attorney General Kwame Raoul is warning the public about robocalls trying to discourage people from voting by mail. Illinois and a few other states are reporting mainly automated calls telling people that if they vote by mail their personal information will be shared with a third party, or that the C.D.C. will use it to create a mandatory vaccine list. There has been a big emphasis on voting by mail this election as the pandemic continues according to the Attorney General. He says it is a secure option for voters.
