Former Church Near Bismarck, Illinois Burns

A former church near Bismarck, Illinois is destroyed after being burned to the ground.  The Walnut Corner Church was engulfed in flames yesterday evening, collapsing while firefighter attempted to put out the blaze.  The official cause is under investigation, but the fire chief believes a lightning strike set off the flames.  No one was in the church at the time, and no one was injured.  The church didn’t have an active congregation.
