A Peoria Research clinic is one of many facilities conducting trials of possible COVID-19 vaccines. Optimal Research’s manager says their facility is testing two possibilities, one for Janssen Pharmaceutical and one for Pfizer. The vaccines being tested contain an inactivated form of the virus intended to promote an immune response to COVID-19.
