Governor J.B. Pritzker is enlisting the help of medical experts to stress the importance of wearing a mask. Rules enforcing the state’s mask mandate go before a legislative oversight committee Tuesday and include fines for businesses that refuse to comply after being warned. Northwestern Medical Group Infectious Disease Specialist Dr. Robert Murphy says everyone needs to wear a mask since the virus is still a big risk to public health.
