Jumpstart Back-To-School Clinic Canceled

In a released statement, the Macon County Health Department, Crossing Healthcare, and First Christian Church have made the difficult decision to cancel the Jumpstart Back to School Clinic originally scheduled for Saturday, August 1^st.

This decision was made due to the recent increase in COVID-19 cases in Macon County and the imperative need to implement all precautionary measures possible to protect the families the families they serve and their healthcare staff. Parents and guardians are encouraged to contact the Macon County Health Department at (217) 423-6988 to schedule required vaccinations or Crossing Healthcare at (217) 877-9117 to schedule schools physicals and/or vaccinations. Both organizations appreciate the community’s understanding and they pledge to work diligently with local families to ensure the students will receive high quality school physicals and healthcare in a timely and appropriate manner.
