The Sullivan School District is mourning the loss of a student. The district says it will provide counseling and support services after the drowning death of 10-year-old Janiya Bennett over the weekend at Sullivan Beach. The girl was found in the water Saturday afternoon and taken to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
