Peoria Police Say 13 Shot in Riverfront Area

Police in central Illinois say 13 people were wounded in a shooting along Peoria’s Riverfront early this morning.  Six men and seven women are being treated for injuries after gunfire erupted in a crowd of nearly 200 people.  Investigators say several people began firing weapons when some sort of a dispute broke out.  Officers are looking for suspects.  All of the victims are expected to recover.
