Legal marijuana in Illinois continues to prove to be big business. Governor JB Pritzker yesterday said state taxes from the sale of marijuana topped 50- million-dollars for the first six months of the year. The total is actually 52-million, and that includes both Illinois’ marijuana tax and the state sales tax. That does not include any local taxes charged by cities or counties.
