The Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority is offering more than seven million dollars in grants to organizations providing relief during the pandemic. Authority Acting Executive Director Jason Stamps says the money will go to groups in areas hit especially hard by the virus and can be used for several concerns. The grants can be used for things such as mental health services, rent and utilities, food banks and more, according to Stamps.
Details about the grant program and how to apply are available at the Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority’s website.
