Prairie Farms Dairy Ending Production In Peoria, Laying Off Workers

Prairie Farms Dairy is ending production at its Peoria plant and is laying off all workers.  A company spokesperson says the plant will shift from milk production to distribution.  The first round of layoffs will start July 31st and the second a month later.  A total of just over 62 employees will be laid off because of the closure of the plant.
