In a statement released on Facebook, organizers of the annual Oakwood Block Party in Decatur have canceled the July date, but hope to resume in August. According to the statement: “We were hoping to have a July Oakwood date this year, but its looking like that will be impossible till the Governor allows events of our size. We are officially cancelling the July 18 Oakwood date, but moving forward with 3 dates in August, September and October.”
