Illinois National Guard Unit Deploying To Ukraine

An Urbana-based Illinois Army National Guard unit is preparing to deploy to Ukraine.  Guard officials say about 165 soldiers from the 33rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team out of Urbana are deploying as part of the Joint Multinational Training Group-Ukraine.  Their mission will be to support United States European Command Operations.
