Over 1 Million Tested for Covid 19 in Illinois

llinois’ coronavirus testing efforts have reached a milestone. The Illinois Department of Public Health said more than a million people in the state have been tested for the virus. Over 127 thousand people have tested positive, and nearly six thousand people have died from it. Illinois’ positive-test-rate is nearly 13 percent. But IDPH says the state’s recovery rate is 92 percent.
