An Illinois man is facing federal charges after authorities say he rioted and handed out explosives while in Minneapolis last week.
Officials say 28-year-old Matthew Lee Rupert was arrested on Sunday after his Facebook posts showed him passing out explosive devices to people and urging them to throw them towards authorities. He was also seen looting a store and damaging public properties in the videos. The civil unrest comes after the death of an unarmed black man who was killed while in Minneapolis police custody.
