Central Illinois farmers continue to progress with planting crops

Central Illinois farmers are making progress with planting crops.

The Illinois Crop Progress Report shows about 70% of corn is planted and about 45% of soybeans.  Farmers say planting conditions are better than in previous years, despite a recent cold spell.
