New Fast-Track Public Infrastructure Grants are being put into place in Illinois.
Governor J.B. Pritzker announced the initiative yesterday to fund planned public infrastructure projects. Commerce officials said the state is expediting 25-million dollars of the existing Rebuild Illinois funding to help local governments pay for planned projects. Many local governments are facing lost revenue because of COVID-19’s economic impact.
