The governor yesterday asked the Illinois Supreme Court to hear his case. Governor Pritzker wants the court to decide just how much power he has under emergency orders, like his order to stay at home. A southern Illinois lawmaker took the governor to court over the order to stay-at-home. The governor says the high court needs to settle the underlying legal question of the case.
