The second round of grants is being distributed to nonprofits from the Illinois COVID-19 Response Fund.
ICRF officials announced yesterday that the fund has given out nearly five million dollars to 18 nonprofits across the state. The fund was established by the United Way of Illinois and the Alliance of Illinois Community Foundations in collaboration with the Office of the Governor. Officials said yesterday that the fund has raised more than 30 million dollars from over 2,400 donors since it launched March 26th.
