The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Illinois is continuing to increase.
State health officials announced over eleven-hundred new cases of the virus in the state yesterday, with nearly 60 additional deaths. Governor J.B. Pritzker said that social distancing has kept hospitals from being overwhelmed with COVID-19 patients. Pritzker also said that the number of COVID-19 patients on ventilators is on a downward trend.
