Regional airports in Illinois will receive over $33 million in federal funding as a response to the economic crisis caused by COVID-19.
Bustos announced yesterday that the grants were awarded as part of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act. The funds are intended to be used to prepare for and respond to disruptions caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
