Gar Forman has been fired by the Chicago Bulls.
Forman, the former general manager of the Bulls, had been with the team for 22 years. He had been general manager for 10 years.
The move was expected after the team hired Arturas Karnisovas to be executive vice president of basketball operations. John Paxton, of the former GarPax, has moved into an advisory role with the team.
