Illinois Girl Scouts are taking a new approach to cookie sales and activities during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The group has implemented Cookie Care, where customers can buy cookies online for home delivery, or to donate to loved ones, first responders, or essential workers. The scouts have been unable to setup cookie booths or sell door-to-door because of social distancing rules. Girl Scouts of Northern Illinois has launched an at home platform where scouts can access free activities to remain engaged and connected to their communities.
