The Illinois Department of Public Health is revealing the results of a survey on how patients are recovering from COVID-19. IDPH Director Dr. Ngozi Ezike said yesterday that the agency sent out a survey to those who have tested positive for COVID-19 in the state, with a 40% response rate.
Of those responding, 43% say they have recovered from the virus. Ezike said that while the state’s older population is at the highest risk, deaths have been seen in all age groups.
