Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker is frustrated with the federal response to COVID-19. Pritzker said yesterday he’s “given up” on an adequate coronavirus response from the federal government. The governor noted that states are bidding against each other for ventilators and personal protective equipment.
President Trump responded to the criticism, going after Pritzker and questioning his performance as governor saying, among other statements, “There is a governor, I hear him complaining all the time, Pritzker. He is always complaining … He has not performed well.”
