The Volunteer group The United Way of Decatur and Mid-Illinois will be giving out sack lunches to help families around Decatur during the tough times that are happening because of the COVID-19 epidemic. They will be giving lunches out in the pavilions of Decatur parks. The Lunches will be available by walk-up on Mondays and Thursdays at Hess Park, Lions Park, Oak Grove Park, and Grant Park as well as on Wednesdays and Sundays at Torrence Park, Mueller Park, Jasper Park, and Monroe Park.
The United Way of Decatur & Mid-Illinois is a group that wants to lead community transformation through effective, efficient, and integrated solutions that empower everyone to be self-sufficient.
