Southern Illinois University Carbondale’s chapter of Delta Chi has been suspended. The move was in response to a violation of an administrative directive concerning the COVID-19 pandemic.
The directive ordered an end to “any and all in-person activities.” Carbondale Police responded to a party at the Delta Chi house over the weekend and reported the violation to university officials. Their chapter recognition was “immediately and indefinitely” suspended.
