Governor J.B. Pritzker says he is hopeful that Illinois will soon begin conducting 10,000 COVID-19 tests daily. Yesterday, the governor said that there are currently around 4,000 Illinois residents tested per day. Pritzker stated he is hopeful that the increase in testing will provide answers to help the state get past the crisis.
