Pavement Patching on U.S. 51 will Begin March 30

U.S. 51 from Interstate 72 to the DeWitt County line will start patching pavement next week.

The Illinois Department of Transportation announced work will start March 30 and will take at minimum four weeks to complete.

There will  be daily lane closures, but one lane will be open at all times as patching is being done.

Any entrances to businesses that are located in the work zone will still be open.
