The Former U.S. Vice President won the Illinois Primary Election.
On Tuesday March 17, the primary election continued as planned despite concerns over the COVID-19 crisis.
Many voters made it out to polling places all over the state, willing to risk the virus concerns in order to help determine the ballot for the November election.
Joe Biden, won Illinois and Florida on Tuesday as well. There are still states that need to hold their elections.
Due to the COVID-19 crisis, many states have postponed or canceled their primary elections until concerns calm down.
