A 22-year-old Decatur man was shot for the second time since December over the weekend.
The man was shot on Sunday evening. That same evening, police responded to the 1200 block of North Jasper Street for a report of shots fired. The man was transported to St. Mary’s hospital around 11 p.m. with wounds to his left ankle and back.
The man did not cooperate with police, and did not share any details. This makes it unclear if he was involved with the shots fired on Jasper Street.
The victim also chose not to cooperate with authorities in December.
