A woman said she was attacked on Saturday while waiting for food at the Wingstop on West King Street.
The victim, who is 20-years-old, was confronted by a woman who then briefly left but returned shortly thereafter accompanied by a man. The couple then accused the victim of breaking into a house, which the victim denied, and also stated she didn’t know who the woman was.
The woman responded by punching the victim at least five times, which left the victim unsure if the man aided in the assault. The couple then left the scene and the victim was left with swelling and bruises on her face.
