Coronavirus has now been confirmed in a total of seven Illinois residents.
The latest individual is an employee of Chicago Public Schools and works as a teacher’s aide. Those who were in close proximity to the person have been asked to stay home and self-quarantine. The school of the employee will be shut down for a couple days, as a precaution.
