The man accused of stabbing Cody Drew to death has also plead not guilty to charges of attempted murder and armed violence for a stabbing that happened less than a day before he allegedly killed Drew.
Charles Gardner has also plead not guilty to his charges related to the killing of Drew.
Both cases have similarities in the way the victims were attacked. Gardner is being held in Macon County Jail without bail.
His pretrial hearing for Cody’s case is set for April 7th.
