A child in the Champaign-Urbana area may have contracted coronavirus. While the case is so far unconfirmed, the child is in the care of McKinley Heath Center at the University of Illinois. Two cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Illinois and 41 cases are being investigated.
The Illinois Department of Public Health still say the general public is a low risk for catching the virus.
