A mother and daughter went to MacArthur High School on Wednesday to assist in a fight that involved the girl’s sister.
The 40-year-old mother was seen rooting on her daughters as they fought another student in the hallway. A teacher tried to stop the fight, but the fight continued until a liaison officer was able to respond.
The daughter who is enrolled at MacArthur was taken by school security while the liaison officer took the mother and her other daughter to the office.
The daughters have been charged with aggravated battery and the mother faces charges of trespassing, mob action and contributing to the criminal delinquency of a minor.
