An 18-year-old student at Eisenhower is facing charges after grabbing the school’s liaison officer by the throat. The officer was summoned to the school to help break up a fight around 2:30 on Monday.
One student was removed from the classroom the fight was in, while the other remained in the classroom where she began yelling at the officer and eventually grabbed his throat.
The student was then handcuffed, taken to jail and arrested. She was charged with resisting/obstructing an officer and also a felony charge of aggravated battery to an officer.
