A woman from Taylorville is facing murder charges after stabbing her 40-year-old boyfriend on New Year’s Eve.
Just after 1 p.m., police were sent to a house where they discovered Jason Bright with a stab wound in his chest. Bright was taken to a local hospital but did not survive.
21-year-old Michaela Herpstreith was found at a separate location and was taken into custody.
