On Sunday evening around 10 p.m. a mother and her unborn child were shot on West Marietta Street. The 25-year-old mother was taken to a local hospital and upon arrival an emergency c-section was performed.
The baby was reportedly shot in the head and was in critical condition.
Police are investigating.
