A man accused of discharging a firearm during a fight in the Masonic Temple parking lot has plead not guilty to the charges. Matthew Rice will be tried on charges of being a felon in possession of a firearm, reckless discharge of a firearm and aggravated unlawful use of a weapon.
Early morning on November 30th, an officer observed the fight and saw a man, later found to be Rice, discharge a firearm several times.
Rice is currently being held in Macon County Jail.
