Casey Wiley of Mount Zion, who was accused of shooting at his mother, has been acquitted of attempted murder. 31-year-old Wiley was found guilty of aggravated unlawful use of a rifle, handgun and shotgun. He was found not guilty of armed violence, aggravated battery, aggravated discharge of a firearm and armed robbery.
Wiley has been in Macon County Jail since June of 2018 and will continue to be held there until he is sentenced.
