A man has been arrested for breaking into a home and sexually assaulting a 5-year-old child. Decatur police were dispatched to a house on East Condit on August 5th after receiving a call about a home invasion and predatory criminal sexual assault.
Police had been collecting evidence and conducting interviews before arresting 22-year-old Peoria resident Jarquez Hobbs. Hobbs was arrested on Tuesday and is now in the Macon County jail.
