A 21-year-old from Decatur, who was shot in the lip on Sunday, has given police a number of conflicting stories as to how he came to be shot in the lip.
Early Sunday morning, officers were called to Decatur Memorial Hospital. When they arrived, the victim was conscious but ended up explaining a number of different versions of the story.
The man’s cousin has been charged with obstructing justice due to officers saying he gave them fabricated answers.
