A new bill could potentially reinstate more than 50,000 driver’s licenses in the state of Illinois. There are currently over 55,000 people in Illinois who can not drive because of unpaid parking tickets.
The bill, known as the License to Work Act, would remove license suspensions as a penalty for the majority of non-driving violations.
